Just days after Gunners legend Freddie Ljungberg visited the Harbour City, fans finally have the opportunity to lock in their seats for the back-to-back football classics – Arsenal v Sydney FC on Thursday 13 July, and Arsenal v Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday 15 July.

It’s been 40 years since Arsenal last visited Australia and to ensure as many football supporters are able to attend one or both matches, ticket prices have been kept affordable at the request of the competing Sydney clubs. Family tickets of four are available from $99 and more than 50 per cent of all tickets priced under $99. Junior tickets (aged 4-16) are from $29.
In further good news for Gunners fans looking for a double dose of the action, patrons can buy into both events and receive a 10 per cent discount across the top 3 categories of seating (A to C).
Arsenal are committed to bringing their strongest possible squad for the two Sydney games.
The Gunners’ playing roster includes some of the brightest stars of the international season, including Alexis Sanchez who was named Player of the tournament as Chile won the Copa America Centenario, and with Olivier Giroud & Laurent Koscielny (France), Mesut Ozil (Germany) and Aaron Ramsey (Wales) playing integral roles in their teams’ paths to the Euro 2016 semi-finals.
“Everyone at Arsenal is looking forward to coming to Australia next summer. It’s been a long time since we’ve been Down Under and will be a great opportunity to give our passionate fans the chance to see the team in action,” an Arsenal FC spokesman said.
“The two matches against Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers will be an important part of our pre-season preparations and we intend to bring our strongest possible squad.”
Arsenal Match-Day Experience Comes to Stadium Australia
In an exciting initiative, the iconic English club will bring the Emirates Stadium experience to Stadium Australia, with themed supporter areas and bars to give fans an authentic Gunners event-day experience.
The northern stands of Stadium Australia will be transformed into the club’s celebrated North Bank for Gunners fans with supporters of Sydney FC (Thursday night) and Western Sydney Wanderers (Saturday night) taking over the southern stands, which will become The Clock End – just as it is at Emirates Stadium in North London.
For those rusted-on fans craving the ultimate Arsenal fan experience: you can join fellow Gunners tragics in The Foundry at Stadium Australia, which will feature a cocktail function with a 4-hour beverage package, entertainment and Category A seating.
