AS the dirt settles and the roar of monster trucks still echo through Stadium Australia from the first ever Sydney Monster Jam show on Saturday 19 October, the rev-up to Monster Jam 2014 begins already and the excitement from awe-struck fans is unmistakable.
Announced by Feld Motorsports last week, the most intense family entertainment experience will be returning on Saturday 11 October 2014 with tickets on sale now.
“The 2013 show, which has been two years in the planning for Sydney, has far exceeded expectations with more than 50,000 Monster Jam fans travelling from all over Australia to see their favourite trucks for the first time. We’re thrilled that this unique show will be with us again next year,” said Greg Sleigh, Stadium Australia General Manager Event & Business Development.

Twelve monster trucks and twelve daring drivers braved the especially designed dirt track, laced with obstacles and ramps perfectly positioned to make the series of races and freestyle sessions a truly heart-pumping, edge-of-your-seat experience. Add to that the amazing aerial stunts of Freestyle Motocross and you’ve got yourself a show to remember.
Tom Meents, who is known for his backflips as well as running his truck Max-D into the ground, led the twelve-driver line-up for the first and only Sydney Monster Jam show. He hit the arena confessing his love for Australia and did not hold back in shouting: “I can’t wait to be back next year!”
