LOSE yourself Sydney, Eminem will be back on Australian shores next year and headlining Rapture, a game-changing rap and urban event to be held at Stadium Australia on Saturday 22 February 2014.
The last time the 13-time Grammy and Oscar winning lyrical genius was in Australia he sold out every single seat of his triumphant stadium tour, and this time will be no exception. The Guardian said of his recent shows in Britain: “His stage presence is as potent as ever.”
In an exciting announcement by the Dainty Group, it is confirmed that Eminem will be performing the captivating and controversial hits that made him, as well as new material from the highly-anticipated album Marshall Mathers LP 2 – due for release on 5 November 2012.
Eminem will be joined by international and Aussie rap and urban superstars that he hand-picked including:
- Kendrick Lamar, the Californian rap genius who was crowned the new king of the West Coast by Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre;
- J. Cole, the chart-topping rapper who got the tick of approval from Jay-Z with his clever rhymes and intriguing lyrical content;
- 360, the Aussie hometown hero and ARIA Award winner. 360 broke through with the platinum-selling album Falling And Flying.
