MORE than 500 of Western Sydney’s local community and business leaders and volunteers will be acknowledged at a dedicated awards ceremony at Stadium Australia.
The ZEST Awards is the premier event for the Community Sector in Greater Western Sydney, and over the past seven years they have recognised more than 800 outstanding projects and individuals from the local community.
Established in 2011, the Awards celebrate all the noteworthy achievements made by the regions’ organisations and volunteers, and aim to highlight the diversity and creativity of the region.
This year the ZEST Award ceremony will be held at Stadium Australia on Friday 12 February.
About 500 guests and nominees will attend the 2019 Awards.
Award nominees must be operating or based in the greater Western Sydney region, including Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Camden, Campbelltown, Canterbury Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Parramatta, Penrith, the Hills, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee.
The first ZEST Awards night attracted nearly 250 attendees.
Now eight years on, the awards now promote new projects, discuss government performance indicators, and encourage local businesses to become their best.
