Following the spectacular sellout success of this weekend’s Perth Optus Stadium shows – part of the November 2023 Asia leg of Coldplay’s record-breaking Music Of The Spheres World Tour which has also taken them to Tokyo, Kaohsiung and Jakarta – the band have today announced a run of Australia and New Zealand dates for October and November 2024. The shows will see Coldplay perform in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland for the first time since 2016.

Fans can register now at Coldplay.com for access to the ticket presale – which begins at 10am local time on Wednesday, 29th November. The general sale begins on Friday, 1st December at 10am local time.

Since the first Music Of The Spheres World Tour date in March 2022, the band have sold over 9 million tickets – the most for any tour over the last two years. The tour has also received rave reviews from fans and critics alike, picking up accolades including Favorite Touring Artist at the 2022 AMAs and Tour of The Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards.

The band recently issued an update on the tour’s sustainability initiatives, revealing that, on a show-by-show comparison, their current tour has so far produced 47% less CO2e emissions than their previous stadium tour in 2016/17, and that more than 7 million trees have already been planted around the world (with one being planted for each concert goer).

On Thursday, Coldplay were named in TIME Magazine’s inaugural TIME100 Climate, a new list of the world’s most influential leaders driving real climate action.

The new dates are as follows:

OCTOBER 2024
30 – Melbourne, Marvel Stadium
31 – Melbourne, Marvel Stadium

NOVEMBER 2024
6 – Sydney, Accor Stadium
7 – Sydney, Accor Stadium

13 – Auckland, Eden Park

Coldplay will make a limited number of Infinity Tickets available for the shows at a later date. Infinity Tickets are released for every Coldplay show to make the Music Of The Spheres World Tour accessible to fans for an affordable price. They will cost $32 AUD / $32 NZD per ticket. They are restricted to a maximum of two tickets per purchaser, and must be bought in pairs (which will be located next to each other).

The band have also revealed their support acts for the shows will be PinkPantheress and Emmanuel Kelly.

DHL is the Official Logistics Partner of the Music Of The Spheres World Tour, supporting the band in their mission to cut the tour’s direct emissions by 50%.

Don’t miss the one and only Foo Fighters . . .  returning to Accor Stadium this summer!

Released last Friday, Foo Fighters’ 11th studio album But Here We Are is out now on Roswell Records/RCA Records. Featuring ‘Rescued’, ‘Under You’, ‘Show Me How’, and ‘The Teacher’, the 10-track album was produced by Greg Kurstin and Foo Fighters, and has been already been met with waves of critical acclaim hailing it as one of the best in the vaunted Foo Fighters catalogue.

Sonically channelling the naiveté of the band’s 1995 debut, informed by decades of maturity and depth, But Here We Are is the sound of brothers finding refuge in the music that brought them together in the first place 28 years ago, a process that was as therapeutic as it was about a continuation of life.

Foo Fighters returned to the stage two weeks ago to kick off their current world tour, which includes headline sets at festivals Boston Calling, Sonic Temple, Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Riot Fest, and more. In addition to the live debut of songs from But Here We Are, fans can of course expect the kind of setlists which have made Foo Fighters one of the biggest live draws on the worldwide stadium, arena and festival circuit:  ‘The Pretender’‘Breakout’‘This Is a Call’‘My Hero’‘All My Life’‘Everlong’‘The Sky Is A Neighborhood’‘Learn To Fly’‘Best Of You’‘Monkey Wrench’‘Times Like These’‘Walk’ and more.

Foo Fighters will also perform in Japan, Brazil and Abu Dhabi in 2023, before heading Down Under.

Joining Foo Fighters as special guests, Queensland punkers The Chats conquered the globe in 2017 with ‘Smoko’ then hit #1 with LP Get F**cked.

Considered one of the world’s greatest post-millennial punk-rock group, they’ll be match-fit by November following a 28-date US tour in October.

Also appearing as special guests will be Manchester duo Hot Milk who released their debut album A Call To The Void in August, in between northern hemisphere sets at festivals Download, Lollapalooza, Reading, and more.

ROCK icons KISS will perform one epic and monumental farewell show – THE FINAL CURTAIN – exclusively at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Saturday 7 October.

Promoters One World Entertainment, TEG Live and Pure Gold today announced that the rock legends and kiss-tory-making gods will turn it on one last time in the way that KISS only can – and only in Sydney.

Photo: Keith Leroux

The Final Curtain show was initiated via a national petition, with passionate KISS fans pleading for the band to return to play one more show in Australia before they bring their incredible touring career to an end with their final-ever performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on 2 December 2023.

KISS frontman Paul Stanley said: “Australia you have made your voices loud enough that it was impossible for us not to hear you! We are overwhelmed by your petitions and calls for one last KISS so we are now announcing that The End Of The Road will detour one last time to Sydney for a final bombastic farewell. As unexpected as this is for us, we will make it unforgettable for all who share the night with us.”

TEG Group CEO Geoff Jones said “TEG is incredibly excited to be able to bring this iconic and legendary band back to Australia for one last time.  As the only country to receive an additional last-ever show, it speaks to the power of the band’s passionate Australian fan base and TEG’s commitment to delivering the shows that fans demand. This final exclusive stadium show at Accor Stadium is sure to be a monumental goodbye for KISS fans from across Australia.”

One World Entertainment CEO Andrew McManus hinted that fans may see a concert for the ages at Accor Stadium on Saturday 7 October.

“My journey of over 22 years with KISS continues for one, final, huge and explosive event, I can’t call it a concert as this is going to be so much more,” he said.

“Now adding WEEZER as ‘special guests’, I’m proud to continue my partnership with the great folks at TEG and deliver what will be The Final Curtain and Goodbye which promises to have a few amazing surprises.

“All I can say is . . . don’t miss the final bow!”

KISSteria well and truly took over Australia in 1980 after their first-ever tour here, resulting in a deep & lasting connection between the band and their fans.  The sold-out Unmasked Tour broke all kinds of records.  Four decades on, KISS has continued their love affair with Australia, whilst gaining new fans across multiple generations along the way.

The sold-out End of the Road tour in November last year received blistering reviews and proved, yet again, why KISS are the most iconic live show in the world.

It’s only fitting that they perform their final ever Australian show at Accor Stadium – the home of Sydney’s major events. It will be bigger, louder, hotter, and crazier than ever before.

Come and celebrate THE FINAL CURTAIN with the hottest band that gave rock ‘n roll to us!
