Juicy Fest is that latest addition to a bumper summer of concerts at Accor Stadium, including old school rockers Guns ‘N Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers with Post Malone, Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles.
That follows the NRL Grand Final and the Sydney Super Cup match between Scottish Giants Celtic FC and the English Premier League’s Everton FC.
The R18 one-day Juicy Fest is sure to trigger some nostalgic feelings for anyone who listened to music in the ‘90s and the 2000s.
Headliner Nelly burst onto the hip-hop scene in the year 2000 with his album Country Grammar, before following that up with Nellyville in 2002. The 47-year-old still has more than 15.5 million monthly listens on Spotify with hits like Hot in Here still blasted on dance floors around Sydney and the world.
Ja Rule’s 2001 Album Pain Is Love went three times Platinum, including smash hit Always On Time Feat. Ashanti, which is still a crowd favourite two decades later.
Ne-Yo’s 2006 album In My Own Words, which included hits like So Sick and Sexy Love, debuted at No 1 on the Billboard Charts and went on to sell more than 1.4 million copies.
