THE Melbourne Storm will shoot for back-to-back NRL premierships – but they will have to beat Minor Premiers the Sydney Roosters to do it – at Stadium Australia on Sunday 30 September.

After a dramatic finals series, the teams that finished 1-2 in the regular-season will contest the 2018 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final.

The Storm will be aiming to become the first club to win successive Grand Finals since the Brisbane Broncos in 1992-93.

The Sydney Roosters will be aiming to win their first premiership since 2013.

The Grand Final will pit Cooper Cronk against his former club the Melbourne Storm and former captain Cameron Smith.

However, a week of Grand Final intrigue lies ahead with Roosters halfback Cronk nursing a shoulder injury and Storm champion fullback Billy Slater needing to beat a charge at the judiciary to take his position place in the 2018 Grand Final.

Gates open at Stadium Australia at 1.15pm.

The Sydney Roosters will also contest the Holden NRL Women’s Premiership Grand Final against the Brisbane Broncos, with that game kicking off the big day at 1.35pm.

The NRL Intrust Super State Championship Grand Final will follow at 3.40pm.

Pre-game entertainment, featuring a spectacular light show and a performance from Gang of Youths, will begin at 6:30pm.

Tickets to the Grand Final include return travel on all public transport, including Sydney Trains, Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses and regular bus services, Ferry services and light rail.

To plan your trip head to the Transport for NSW event page here.

The traditional pre-Grand Final party in Sydney Olympic Park will be in full swing on the day with further details available in the coming days.
