James Conway

ITALIAN football giants Juventus – one of the world’s most famous clubs – will play the Foxtel A-League All Stars at Stadium Australia on 10 August in another major events coup for NSW.

Juventus have declared they will tour with their full squad, including superstar striker Carlos Tevez and captain Gianluigi Buffon, for the showdown with the A-League’s best, who will play their first match since their inaugural clash against Manchester United earlier this year.

Juventus – the club that made Alessandro Del Piero a legend – are the most successful team in Italian football history, winning a record 29 Serie A titles and capturing two Champions League titles.

The Manchester United game sold out in minutes after going on sale when a packed house of 83,127 turned out at Stadium Australia on 20 July to see a football master class.
