Everything You Need To Know For Good Friday At Accor Stadium

It’s the annual clash circled on the calendar of footy fans around the country . . . and 2022 is sure to be another explosive chapter in the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs rivalry.

With the Easter Show in full swing next door to Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park and festivities in full flow around Sydney it’s going to be a special weekend.

  • 1:15pm: Gates Open
  • 1:40pm: Kick-off – NSW Cup
  • 4:05pm: Kick-off – NRL – Rabbitohs v Bulldogs
Top Tips
  • Arrive early and enjoy a huge day of action in and around Accor Stadium.
  • Leave plenty of time for the entry process.
  • Take advantage of free travel on ALL public transport to Sydney Olympic Park, including Trains and Major Event Buses.
  • Don’t drive unless you have pre-booked your parking as carparks will be full in the Park.
  • Make a day of it! With the Easter Show in full flow next door and show bags allowed into the Stadium you can enjoy a big day out with the family.

The best way to secure your tickets is to pre-purchase them online via Ticketek and avoid queues at the box office.

Tickets start from $25 for Adults and $50 for a family.

Bulldogs Ticketed Members can enjoy reciprocal rights for this event! Just use your Membership to redeem a ticket for this event.

Getting to the game

The most important thing for a good game day is to get moving early and leave plenty of time for getting to the Stadium.

Your best bet is to use public transport and plan your trip using the Transport for NSW Trip Planner here.

Express trains will run between Central and Olympic Park station to get you to and from the game. Regular trains also run frequently between Lidcombe and Sydney Olympic Park.

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will be running on all routes.

If you have not pre-booked a parking spot in Sydney Olympic Park, DO NOT DRIVE. Car parks are already full and won’t be available for day-of parking.

Weather

It’s set to be a perfect day for footy in Sydney Olympic Park with no rain forecast and a balmy 24C predicted by the Bureau.

Entertainment and Activities

There’s plenty to do both inside and outside the Stadium on Good Friday so wrangle the family and enjoy the footy festivities!

The Rabbitohs’ Kids Zone will be open on the External Practice Facility outside the western side of Accor Stadium with inflatables, ball games and face painting all on offer.

On the field the Rabbitohs will host a range of Game Day activities, including a welcome to country, performances and half time competitions.

Easter Show

The Sydney Royal Easter Show will be in full flow next door in Sydney Olympic Park on Good Friday. You can find out more about what’s happening at the show on their website here.

Reminder that Easter Show Bags are permitted inside the Stadium but will need to be checked by security on entry.
