Following their 1-1 draw against Syria overnight – with the crucial away goal giving the Aussies the advantage – the boys have a massive 90 minutes ahead of them in Sydney as they look to move onto the next stage of FIFA World Cup Qualifying.

WHAT’S THE SITUATION?
The Socceroos will play their final make-or-break Asian Qualifier Playoff against Syria next Tuesday following their 1-1 draw in Malaysia. The winner will be decided on aggregate.
Should the Socceroos win the Playoff they will go on to play the fourth-placed team in CONCACAF Qualifying over two legs for a place in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The second leg of that game is pencilled in at Stadium Australia on Tuesday 14 November.

STADIUM AND PRECINCT SECURITY
A high NSW Police and security presence will be in place for Socceroos v Syria.
Fans are asked to leave additional time for the security screening process when entering the Stadium. This process will include mandatory bag searches and personal checks.
Only small bags (no larger than 30cm x 40cm) are permitted into Stadium Australia for events, and all bags will be checked by security. Fans should arrive without bags if possible.
