Australia travel to Salvador to face Croatia in a pre-World Cup trial on Saturday 7 June before focusing on the daunting challenge of the Group of Death. The Socceroos’ difficult World Cup Group includes the 2010 World Cup champions, Spain, as well as Holland and Chile.
If they can pull off Mission Improbable and advance past the Group stage, the Socceroos are then pitted against Brazil.
The Socceroos will return to Australian shores for the biggest ever football event to hit Australian soil – the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.
