NSW Rugby League has confirmed that Stadium Australia will host the 2018 Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership Grand Final on Friday, 10 August.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs will meet the Mounties in the competition’s second Grand Final since it’s inception in 2017.
In a first for the competition, the Women’s decider will feature at the annual Harvey Norman ‘Women in League Round’, and forms one part of an exciting double-header with the South Sydney Rabbitohs versus Sydney Roosters NRL clash to follow.
“The Women’s Premiership has gone to another level in 2018, it’s fitting that the competition’s grand finale be played at New South Wales’ premier Rugby League stadium,” said NSWRL Head of Competitions, Yvette Downey.
The Mounties are the first team to earn their place in the 2018 Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership Grand Final, besting the 2018 minor premiers the South Sydney Rabbitohs 14-12.
The Rabbitohs were able to bounce back and defeat Cabramatta 26-12 in Week Three of the finals.
Kick-off for the 2018 Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership Grand Final is at 5:30pm.
