- The 2019 Stadium Australia Members’ Dinner raised $30,000 for the Children’s Hospital at Westmead;
- The money raised will support the hospital’s Clinical Trials for children being treated in the Cancer Centre;
- Venues NSW Chairman Christine McLoughlin officially opened the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit Parent’s Room and Kitchen which was refurbished with the money raised from the 2018 Stadium Australia Members’ Dinner;
- Stadium Australia has been a proud supporter of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead since 2003.

THERE were cheers of celebration at the Children’s Hospital Westmead today when, on behalf of Stadium Australia Members, Venues NSW Chairman Christine McLoughlin presented Dr Luciano Dalla-Pozza from the Oncology Treatment Centre with $30,000 raised from the 9th annual Members’ Dinner held in May.
The Cancer Centre is led by world-class clinicians and researchers who embrace their mission to cure every child and adolescent with cancer.
Each year they provide excellence in medical care and support services to 160 new children with cancer and their families.
Since the Centre was established in 1976, there has been more than 4600 children and adolescents treated.
The money raised by Stadium Australia Members will help The Cancer Centre continue its vital work.
13-year-old Molly Croft, a patient of the Oncology Treatment Centre, attended this year’s Members’ Dinner as our VIP guest and was on-hand today to help receive the cheque and ring the celebration bell.
Since becoming benefactors in 2003 Stadium Australia has donated close to half a million dollars to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead through money raised at the Members’ Dinner, gift-in-kind and auction prizes.
The money raised at the 2018 Members’ Dinner was used by the hospital to refurbish the Parent’s Rooms and Kitchen in the Children’s Intensive Care Unit.
Long overdue for an upgrade, the Parent’s Rooms are used as emergency accommodation for families who find themselves at the hospital in extreme circumstances.
These rooms were officially opened today, with a plaque commemorating Stadium Australia Members.
