The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup begins September 22 with Sydney Olympic Park hosting all 38 games across 10 days of non-stop basketball action.

Tournament ambassador and Aussie basketball legend Lauren Jackson said: “The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup is one of my favourite events as a player, so I’ve been looking forward to playing the 2022 tournament on home soil.”

A packed house of 20,000 is assured for the FIBA WWC Final ahead of 80,000 fans packing Accor Stadium on rugby league’s biggest stage: NRL Grand Final Day.
