THE NSW Waratahs Super Rugby Final on Saturday 2 August will kickstart an #AwesomeAugust at Stadium Australia.
The top-of-the-table Waratahs defeated the ACT Brumbies 26 – 8 in the Super Rugby Semi-Final on Saturday night, and have now landed their first ever home Super Rugby Final against the Crusaders at Stadium Australia.
With eight wins in a row and a 100% home record this season, the Tahs’ chances of lifting their first ever Super Rugby Trophy have never looked better, and you can be a part of all the action at Stadium Australia.

The Waratahs’ Super Rugby Final is the first in a series of major events ready to roll out at Stadium Australia through August, featuring:
- ITALIAN football giants Juventus taking on the Foxtel A-League All Stars led by Alessandro Del Piero in his Australian farewell on Saturday 10 August;
- THE battle for the Bledisloe Cup on Saturday 16 August, which will see the Qantas Wallabies aim to break their 12-year dry spell against world champions the New Zealand All Blacks;
- A season-defining AFL blockbuster between the Swans and Tigers, with the Swans chasing a top-two finish and the potential for two home finals at Stadium Australia;
- SIX NRL games, including the annual Bandaged Bear Cup between the Parramatta Eels and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Friday 15 August, and the return bout between premiership hopefuls the Bulldogs and the Rabbitohs on Thursday 28 August.
A whopping 300,000 fans are expected to pass through the turnstiles at Stadium Australia throughout #AwesomeAugust. You can join them and make it a sporting month to remember.
