IT’S Sydney sport’s night of nights – a unique opportunity to mingle with and hear first-hand from some of the legends of Australian sport.
The 4th Annual Stadium Australia Members’ Dinner on Wednesday 14 May will bring together the nation’s Golden Achievers in the four footy codes – including Australian rugby league superstar Greg Inglis and the most dynamic AFL player in Sydney, Swans co-captain Kieren Jack.
Joining South Sydney Rabbitohs champion GI on a rugby league panel will be Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs’ rising star Josh Reynolds – the player many believe is destined to play Origin for the Blues.
With this year’s Members’ Dinner coming just hours after after the Socceroos’ World Cup squad is announced, former Socceroos Brett Emerton, Mark Bosnich and Jason Culina will give their exclusive insights into the highly-anticipated selection of Ange Postecoglou’s squad to travel to Brazil.
“Emo” is the third most capped Socceroos player in history while Bozza is one of Australia’s foremost football commentators and an ex-Manchester United star. Culina only retired from national duty last year and knows the current squad’s strengths and weaknesses.;
The Socceroos, of course, will play an emotional World Cup farewell match at Stadium Australia on Monday 26 May, with another huge crowd to cheer them on.
Stadium Australia Members will, prior to the dinner on Wednesday 14 May, get the opportunity to enjoy drinks on the Stadium arena and to meet and chat with a host of sporting legends.
Hosted by TV sports personality Mel McLaughlin, the main event will have guests welcomed to Stadium Australia’s luxurious Members’ Dining Room for a sumptuous three-course-meal including premium beverages, while lively panel discussions, entertainment and prize draws take place on-stage.
It’s a night of sporting dreams that you won’t want to miss, with all proceeds raised going to Stadium Australia’s charity partner, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
