Your Ultimate Guide to The Ed Sheeran Concerts at Sydney’s Accor Stadium February 24-25

MORE than 170,000 music fans will stream through the gates of Accor Stadium to watch global superstar Ed Sheeran over two nights – and fans are being encouraged to plan their trip and arrive early for the huge shows.

Tickets to both shows on Friday 24 February and Saturday 25 February include return travel on all public transport including Sydney Trains, regular and special event bus services, Sydney Ferries, and light rail services. Available parking in the Olympic Park precinct is already fully booked. Fans who do not have pre-booked parking should not drive to the Olympic Park precinct.

With the biggest crowds for concerts in Sydney since 2020 on the way, fans are strongly encouraged to allow additional travel time and to ARRIVE EARLY at Accor Stadium. Allow time also for the Stadium Entry Process so you don’t miss any of this amazing show.

THE SHOW

Global superstar Ed Sheeran will perform In The Round at Accor Stadium – with the stage set up in the centre of the arena. This will allow for a concert attendance well above the 80,000-seated capacity.

Fans will be treated to an array of tracks off his latest album “=”, plus hits from across his impressive catalogue.

Special guests Maisie Peters and Budjerah will join Ed Sheeran for his shows at Accor Stadium, and are rising stars in their own right.

Peters, who also hails from the UK, is signed to Sheeran’s Gingerbread Records label and recently toured alongside the megastar through the UK and Europe.

First Nations man and homegrown R&B star Budjerah adds a local flavour, having been named as ARIA’s Breakthrough Artist in 2021.

With over 170,000 fans due in the precinct over the two nights, use of public transport is strongly advised. Public transport is included in your concert ticket.

Car Parks at Sydney Olympic Park are SOLD OUT.

If you have not pre-booked a parking spot in Sydney Olympic Park, do not drive to the Olympic Park precinct.

Sydney Olympic Park will be extremely busy with huge crowds on the way. Combined with the usual daily peak hour (roughly 5-7pm) there will be heavy traffic around the Stadium and delays are expected.

Follow directional signage when you arrive at the Park as road closures will also be in place for public safety.

STADIUM ENTRY PROCESS

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and allow additional time for the security screening process when entering the Stadium. This process will include mandatory bag searches and personal checks.

Only small bags (smaller than A3) are permitted into Accor Stadium, and all bags will be checked by security. Fans should arrive without bags if possible.

Hot Tip: The most important thing for a great event day is to plan your trip, get moving early and leave plenty of time for getting to Sydney Olympic Park and into Accor Stadium. Plan your trip using the Transport for NSW Trip Planner.

GETTING HOME

Please be patient when departing, it will take time to exit with over 85,000 people leaving the Park on both nights.

If you plan to book a rideshare, your best option to avoid surge fees and meet your driver faster is to use public transport to get to the nearest train station or bus stop and book your rideshare to collect you from there.

The taxi rank will be operating on Herb Elliott Ave, near Australia Avenue.
