LIVERPOOL FC’s playing squad are in the air and on their way Down Under for their blockbuster match against Sydney FC at Stadium Australia tomorrow night.
With the game so close, here is everything you need to know to make sure you have the best time possible!
what time does it start?
Fans are encouraged to arrive early with the party starting outside the Stadium at 4:30pm. Food stalls, merchandise tents and match program stands on both the eastern and western sides of the precinct will be open.
Gates open at 6pm and fans will want to be in their seats by 7:15pm to make sure they don’t miss a second of the pre-match celebrations.
what’s happening pre-game?
Liverpool FC will begin their year-long, 125th anniversary celebrations at Stadium Australia with a host of pre-game activities inside the Stadium before they take on Sydney FC on Wednesday.
At 7:15pm the players will begin their warm-ups for the match before a pre-game show begins on the pitch that will include a special presentation on-screen and 125th anniversary celebrations.
And just before the game begins, Stadium Australia will come alive with the traditional singing of “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.
how can i get to the game
Fans are strongly encouraged to leave the car at home and use the return travel on ALL public transport included in your tickets to the game.
Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses are running for the game and will begin between 4:45pm and 5:15pm, depending on the route.
Additional direct train services will be running regularly to Olympic Park Station from both eastern and western Sydney.

security at anz stadium
Stadium Australia management works closely with the NSW Police Force to identify any risks relating to the staging of its events.
There will be a high presence of police and security at the Liverpool FC v Sydney FC match on Wednesday 24 May.
Fans attending the match should arrive early to allow for a security screening process on each entry to the venue, which may include both bag and personal checks. Refusal by a patron to comply with a search request will result in the patron not being admitted into the Stadium.
Security checks will be carried out on all bags entering the Stadium. To help avoid delays, it’s best to leave your bag at home if you can. If you do bring a bag, it must be smaller than 30cm by 40cm.
To ensure the safety of customers, the Stadium is constantly reviewing its security procedures and is having ongoing dialogue with Police.
Patrons are requested to report any suspicious behaviour to Police or Stadium staff immediately.
Gates open at 6pm. Kick-off is at 8pm.

Nothing beats being at the game and the atmosphere at Liverpool FC v Sydney FC is sure to be electric with two passionate fanbases going at it.

who is playing?
Liverpool FC have named a powerful travelling squad featuring a number of big name players who, on Sunday, helped the club secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League next season.
To help with the 125th anniversary celebrations the game will also feature four LFC Legends – Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Steve McManaman and Daniel Agger will join Jurgen Klopp’s first-team on the pitch. See the full line-up below.
